"    Back-flush the machine as per the manufacturers instruction. In most coffee makers, this will entail running the pump in small intervals and release the water after the flush to remove dirt from within the machine. As you release the pressure, the cleaning detergent would force its way through the valves and through the dispenser screen. The manufacturer's instructions should also include the frequency for back-flushing.
